Emtelle Announce New Group CIO (Chief Information Officer)

Emtelle, leading global manufacturer of blown fibre cable, and ducted network solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kees Sterk as Group CIO.

Kees is a graduate of both Utrecht and Delft Universities in the Netherlands and of Napier University, Edinburgh. Possessing over 25 years of experience in technology and senior leadership roles, Kees, therefore, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this crucial new role within Emtelle.

As Group CIO, Kees will be responsible for the leadership, development, and management of Emtelle’s information and technology-driven business strategy, systems, and infrastructure. He will be responsible for taking us on our digital journey in this time of growth.

In his role, Kees will report directly to Emtelle Group CEO Tony Rodgers. Speaking Dutch as a native speaker and English and German fluently, Kees is an asset to the Emtelle group, operating on a global platform. Kees joins us from KCA Deutag Drilling Ltd where he served latterly as Group Head of IT Services and Security.

Kees will take up his new role with effect from Thursday 1st April 2021.
